What we do

Buildable structural design that gets your permit issued and your project framed.

Our team focuses exclusively on residential structural engineering across the Bay Area. We design framing, foundations, beams, retaining walls, and seismic retrofits that pass plan check the first time and that your contractor can actually build in the field.
Common structural problems

What homeowners ask us about most.

Can I remove a load-bearing wall?

We size beams, posts, and footings and stamp the calcs your city needs to open up your floor plan safely.

Sagging or uneven floors

Often a joist, beam, or post-and-pier issue. We diagnose root cause and design a permittable repair.

Questions

Good ones, answered.

  • If your project removes a wall, adds square footage, alters a foundation, builds a deck, or touches anything load-bearing, your jurisdiction will almost always require stamped structural calculations and details from a licensed engineer. We'll tell you honestly during a free call if you don't need us.

Have plans? Have a wall to open?
